Red Nose Day at Snozone MK

On the 8th March the Parkshaper team at Snozone MK, Built a pair of giant red noses to help raise money for Red Nose Day 2013.
The features where made from a pair of big tractor tires boarded up and painted red with this years Red Nose face painted on the front.

The idea was to challenge the riders to jump spin and flip over the noses so that Snowboard photographer Jools Smith could get some great shots..

The night was a great success with people coming from far and wide to send it over the noses.

The pictures have been used by press in and around MK. This shot taken from this week MK News.


Keep your eyes peeled on Friday nights Comic relief show for park shapers @thomparkshaper and @neilparkshaper sending the spins over the noses early friday morning filmed by the BBC.

Whitelines November Knockout SNOPARK MK Preview...

Last night at SNOPark Mk we held a Private Park session for the SNOZONE team riders..
I think we can safely say this Fridays park will certainly sort the men from the boys.
What with the SHRED COLLECTIVE RAIL and the MONSTER close out this is going to be sick..

Summer of love launch Mini edit..

Here is a mini edit from the 28th and 29th of Junes Summer of love launch night at SNO!zone Mk.
The 2 nights where great fun with 2 full slopes of park features.
This event was also the unveiling of The Nike Stairset rail which has made the journey down south from SNO!zone Castleford for a couple of months.

Butta the wax company where down providing riders
with a cheap wax of there skis and boards before they head
out onto the slopes.
They also brought down there Graffiti artists who gave the
riders a live art show though out the night spraying up
the summer of love piece which can be seen at the bottom of the slope

The Nike Stairset will be out for most of the summer and is currently open every day from 12pm till close for the Summer of Love Freestyle park everyday promotion.

So if you get a day off in the week and fancy a shred then come down from 12 everyday and practice your tricks on the stairs.
There will also be a few other smaller features out in the week.
This week we have a gas pipe and a flat box.

Who's Afraid of The Park? Freestyle Coaching Evening at SNO!park MK.

The 2012 tour arrives at SNO!zone Milton Keynes on Friday 20th July. Whether you’ve an interest in freestyle riding or you want to take park skills to the next level Who’s Afraid of the Park is for you!

Our freestyle ski and snowboard instructors will be on hand to encourage you to push your boundaries, creativity and technical riding to the next level. Dedicated beginner freestyle features will be out for you to hone your skills on and by the end of the session you’ll have those key tricks dialled.

SNO!zone sponsored riders will be supporting our freestyle qualified coaches providing crucial advice and inspiration stemming from years of competitive riding experience.

 This awesome event will be taking place on Friday July 20th here at SNO!zone Milton Keynes and will run from 7PM to 10PM,

Heres the park plan for Thursday 19th and Friday 20th.

This week we sees the return of the Who’s afraid of the park Freestyle coaching event at SNO!park.

So if your looking for some advice on your tricks or are new to freestyle skiing and snowboarding and fancy giving it a go. Then this evening of freestyle fun and games is for you.

The park is designed with all abilities in mind with a huge choice of features. We have gas pipes both ride and side hit. Kickers and boxes.

But also for the more advanced we have the donkey kink rail and The Nike Stair set Rail.

Here is this weeks park at SNO!park Mk.

We have the orange pipe and a street rail at the top of the slope, Moving

Down we have the shotgun down bar and a raised black pipe.

Then we have a table top kicker with a pipe coping and tranny.

To finsh we have the Y split gaspipes.

This weeks park is designed with all abilities in mind so we have something for everyone out on the slope.

A few laps of Gazza Andrews Signature park SNO!park MK..

This weeks park setup at SNO!park MK..- Signiture Sessions.

This Thursday we have the rookie park on the left hand slope with some smaller features for you to practice on.

Moving to the other slope we have the down bar with firecracker steps to land on, and a closed out black pipe.

Moving down we have 15meters of the world record rail and them a kicker with a launch box in the center and other trannys to hit..

To finish we have the triple gas pipe drop down…

This Fridays park has been designed by SNO!zone and Forum snowboards rider Gazza Andrews..

It s a pretty tech setup with many of the features having multiple hits and trannys..

Added from the Thursday park will be a butter box with two gas pipe hits and another raised pipe at the bottom..

Signature Sessions - Gazza Andrews..

Signature Sessions returns to SNO!park Mk on June 1st.
This month it’s the turn of rail riding champ FBBB, Forum and SNO!zone rider Gazza Andrews to design a park setup of epic proportion.
If you have ever seen Gazza shredding at SNO!park Mk then you know your in for a treat getting to shred the park he has dreamt up.
 No doubt it will be uber tech with more rails/gaps and trannys than you can shake your shred stick at..
 The park plan will be unveiled soon so keep an eye out on the SNO!zone facebook page and of course here at PARKSHAPER.BLOG.

This week at SNO!park Mk we have the rookie park on the top left of the slope, consisting of two smaller rails and a box jump.

On the other side we have a pair of gas pipes , moving down to a pole jam and the hitching post then down to a raised gas pipe and a stall and a pair of street style rails to finish..

This week we have a gas pipe and the squre bar at the top, moving down to a battleship made using the giant pipes and the flat box. Down the slope there will be a kicker and and elbow gas pipe to finish..

On the other slope we have the rookie features and a mogul field..

This week at SNO!park Mk on the main park slope we have at the top a black gas pipe and a street rail moving down to another pipe and a down flat down, then onto the kicker which has a flat down built into the side of it then to finish there is another street rail and the orange gas pipe. The rookie park will be as usual on the opposite slope..

So last week was a banger at SNO!park MK, Everyone seemed to have that Go Big Or Go Home attitude..
Loads of riders sending over the gap from the flat down to the black pipe and off of the pole jam at the bottom.

This week at SNO!park Mk we have the Donky kink rail and the black gas pipe,

Moving down the slope to a double kicker line with a pole jam on one of the jumps for you to send it off.

Then to finish we have the gaspipe stall.

The rookie rail line will be on the opposite slope to practice your tricks on .
